therapy queer

“Who wants a stuffy therapist?”

I’m a nonbinary queer, polyamorous Puerto Rican with a varied background in industrial design, creative writing, and publishing. I use they/them pronouns. I’m a graduate of Notre Dame de Namur University, as well as a sex educator and panelist on topics of consent, polyamory, and gender diversity. I previously worked at the San Mateo County Pride Center serving LGBTQ+ people and their families, and currently work part-time at Doorway Therapeutics in Oakland providing ketamine assisted therapy that centers queer folks of color.

I’m a native Spanish speaker and unrepentantly crafty. I fill my spare time with thrifted sewing projects, backseat videogaming, fantasy paperbacks, pole dancing, and things that involve power tools. I like tattoos, typography, and food science. I dislike horror movies and asparagus.

How I work

I like to nerd out on neurobiology and social justice, and tend to find there’s both intensity and humor in my sessions with clients. My interpersonal style is sex-positive, sincere, pragmatic, and a little silly. I borrow from lots of frameworks. I’m here to help you grow, and spite the patriarchy while we’re at it. I believe you are the expert on yourself, and see my role as consulting expert and teammate to help you get where you want to be.
